Ddrops Bliss contest: Help choose the 4 winners

Ddrops™ Company is showing its commitment to support Mom bloggers by sponsoring 4 Canadian Mom bloggers’ entry (registration) to Blissdom  Canada 2011. For complete details about the contest, the prize and how the winners will be selected, click here.  The contest is called Ddrops Bliss.  You can follow the discussion and buzz about this contest on Twitter with the hashtag #DdropsBliss.

We are thrilled with the excitement that this contest has generated.  A total of 20 Canadian Mom bloggers have entered our contest.  Each entry consists of a written post on the blogger’s website which outlines her thoughts on how Canadian Mom bloggers can influence the healthcare of Canadians.  All of the posts are well written with some great ideas.  Since social media and blogging are all about community engagement, we are asking the public to help us choose the 4 winners.

How to vote for the Canadian Mom blogger that you think has addressed the question “how do Mom bloggers influence the healthcare of Canadians” the most clearly in her blog?

It’s easy.  All of the entries are listed below in this blog post.  They link to the bloggers’ entry posts on their individual blogs.  Read through them and then tell us in the comments section of this blog which 2 posts you believe best address the healthcare question.  Each person can vote for up to 2 bloggers, but can only vote for each once.  Contest entrants can vote as well, and they can vote for themselves if they wish to do so.

VERY  IMPORTANT: To make sure that we do not miss any votes, your vote must be in the comments section of this Ddrops blog post, not the bloggers’ blog.   Feel free to leave a comment on the bloggers’ posts, but be sure to come back to the Ddrops blog to vote.  We will not be going through the individual blogs’ comments to see if somebody may have inadvertently voted there.  The Mom bloggers who entered the contest are held responsible to ensure that the comments are included the Ddrops blog (this post specifically).

Voting will take place until Friday March 11th, 11:59 pm E.S.T.

If you see some posts that you like from the entries below, be sure to follow that blog.  Mom bloggers work very hard to share information, tips and reviews that will assist other parents, so you may benefit from some of their future posts as well.

Update February 27th:

Thank you to the contestants and all the voters for making the Ddrops Bliss contest so exciting.  We can see that many of you are very passionate about your favorite Canadian Mommy blogger, and you want her (or them if you voted for 2) to win their entry to Blissdom Canada.  And with almost 500 comments, it is difficult to keep track.  As such, we are going to give you sporadic snapshots of the blogger rankinds.  We decided not to post this information on the voting platform itself (our blog) because we did not want to influence new voters.  Therefore, you can find the top 8 bloggers on our FaceBook page http://www.facebook.com/BabyDdrops .  Come every once for an update as many of the bloggers are very close to one another, so the order could change, and even some of the names could change.  Remember that voting takes place until March 11th 11:59 pm EST, so anything could happen from now until then.  Contestants – keep up the great work and stay confident.  Every vote counts.  Good luck to all of you!

    I vote for Spaghetti and Spanx because she captures the essence of how the blogging world creates a community of women multigenerationally. Like in times past when you could look to mothers, grandmothers, or wise women of your tribe to help you raise your children, heal your sick, know what was medicinal, learn how to nurse and comfort, and find empathy and caring so central to mental health, so we have our blogging friends. Our circle of wise women who help us to care for ourselves, our children, and our loved ones. And Spaghetti and Spanx always reminds us that laughter is the best medecine.

        I wonder if he’s secretly hoping I *don’t* win! ;) LOL! j/k He’s been super supportive of my blog and of me blogging. He even said that blogging got me through my high risk pregnancy, very early delivery of our preemie, and those long 70 days in the NICU! He also says he thinks blogging is “good for me”! :)

    Totally forgot to place my own vote!! First, THANKS SOO MUCH to you guys for running this awesome contest. I was nervous to enter but you were right – I have met some great bloggers & tweeps as a direct result of this contest!!
